Egg Food Recipe for
Canaries and Finches
Step 1
One recipe Jiffy Corn Bread Mix. Prepare as on the box (use
water instead of milk). Bake and cool. Process in the food
processor. Put in LARGE bowl.
Step 2
2 Cups CousCous
3 Cups Boiling Water
1/4 Cup Poppy Seed
1/4 Cup Olive Oil
Mix together. Stir occasionally till cool. Add to the bowl and mix.
Step 3
In the food processor add:
2 Cups ABBA Green 92 Nestling Food
1/4 Cup Petamine
2 Tbsp. Soy Protein
1 Tbsp. Super preen or other vitamin with Amino Acids
1/4 tsp. of LA Powder (Lactobacillus)
1 Tbsp. Wheat Germ
1/4 Cups Pellets (Roudybush)
7 Hard Boiled Eggs with the Shells
1 Cup Proteen 25
Process in the food processor. Add to the above mixture.
Step 4
In the food processor add:
1 lb. carrots
1 lb. frozen broccoli - also some fresh broccoli
Process in the food processor. Add to the above mixture.
Also add some frozen peas to the
mixture.
Package in zip seal baggies or ice
cube trays in the amount you would use in about 3 days. Freeze the
rest in the same size packages. To thaw - move from freezer to
fridge the night before needed. |
